Miami, FL (October 19, 2016) – CBT Technology Institute is proud to announce that its President Monica Llerena was recognized at the 15th Anniversary Gala Awards Banquet organized by the Minority Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. this past Friday, October 14th, 2016.
“The CEO Woman of the Year Award 2016” is presented to leaders for their outstanding achievements in the education industry, business, and contributions to the empowerment of minority communities in South Florida. Ms. Llerena expressed her gratitude by noting that continued success and that of her teams will always be dependent on, “progress, not perfection is the key to vision and leadership. Our Begin Belong Be More living mission statement is what inspires me to identify with not only the teams, but largely our students as they prepare to engage in a community of opportunities and challenges.”
This award is a tribute of the leadership that CBT Technology Institute’s President has achieved with her service to our Miami Dade County, and the high level of success in the educational community. She has proven to be a pivotal leader that continues to make great impact in our country, which is highly supported by her commitment toward education and servant leadership.
